Mystical Griselda is here to put a spell on you! Won’t you adopt her?
Her hand-painted face is modeled after a white’s tree frog, with super gloss glaze on the eyes and mouth and satin glaze on the rest of the face. She’s wearing a long, black gown with layers of pleated tulle, complete with wired and posable black cape and felt witch hat with tulle, silk flowers, and berries. Her arms are clasped together with black tulle, carrying a sack of little pumpkins! Inside the dress is hollow, allowing her to be slipped over a tall wine bottle or other tall bottle (bottle not included). She’d make a lovely addition to your spooky Halloween decor or year round at your altar space (she deserves it). Priced to match her fierceness and because I am having an internal struggle about letting someone else adopt her… Nanny didn’t even want to send her back to me! She’s the queen bee.
These characters are collabs created with my grandmother, Nanny, for FrogCon 2022. I sent her a collection of hand-painted polymer clay frog faces and she used her skills as a fiber artist to turn them into some friends.
*NOTE: THESE ARE DECORATIVE COLLECTIBLES, NOT TOYS.*
These characters are not meant to be handled excessively or played with. I am not responsible for care of the little angels once they leave my house. It’s your job to protect them after that!

About Nanny’s Creations
Nanny’s Creations is a fiber arts and craft brand run for decades by my dear grandmother, Marion Soper, aka Nanny. She’s an expert knitter, coordinates social groups, and teaches pine needle basket weaving classes at community centers in The Villages, Florida. We began collaborating together when the pandemic put a halt on her regularly-booked craft shows, as a way to allow her to continue her craft without cluttering up her space with additional inventory. Then, we kept doing it, because it was fun. Labor note: Nanny is compensated for her work in a method she deems fit, either financially or through creation and supply of custom painted polymer clay faces, which she uses for her own products.
About the Materials
Character bodies are filled with small grain rice and polyfill fiber. Face is made from polymer clay and painted with FolkArt acrylics. Hair is treated and ethically-sourced lamb’s wool. Many fabrics used are upcycled materials or scrap fabrics Nanny gathered from her local craft community.
