This is the second of what will be three bird-themed box blinds out at the Puckahbrush Palace bluebird preserve. On this larger blind, built for a couple of people to comfortably sit in, we decided to do a scene with a male and female Eastern Bluebird against a verdant background, matching the many mesquite trees across the property.
Spray painting this 5’x7′ box blind mural took a total of 4.5 hours. A digital concept mockup was rendered in Procreate (see Process Photos below) prior to painting, which took an additional 1.5 hours of preparation time.
