On November 29th, I was hired to produce a live graphic recording mural at an adidas activation, celebrating the upcoming launch of their new Supernova Rise running shoe with a wear test at Austin’s own The Loop Running Supply Co.
I felt grateful to be a part of this fun, interactive element for the audience, drawing all the reasons they ran, which they wrote onto supplied post-its, on a big canvas. Everyone was so excited to be able to participate. This provided a buffer activity before and after the adidas Athletes Panel with Hobbs Kessler, Mike Kofuzi, and Ashley Mateo.
Aside from the Austin-themed border, this 5’x6′ mural was drawn over the four hours of the event. I was given brand colorways prior to the event and filled my own custom Montana paint markers to match the Why I Run campaign palette.
